Support our give back to society campaign to gift a hygiene kit at a subsidized rate to a girl belonging to under-priviledged community. Your contribution of Rs 300 will provide 1 girl with a foldable pad hygiene kit (4 foldable cloth pads, 1 storage pouch, 1 leakproof pouch & 1 underwear, information booklet in regional language) that will last her for more than 2 years. We will provide her with proper awareness and education regarding usage and care of reusable pads. By choosing this, you contribute Rs 300 to empower a girl, you will not receieve an item. Through the campaign “Bleed in Peace”, we distributed 6600 cloth pad kits to 2000 menstruators from underprivileged backgrounds in West Bengal during covid times. The campaign also raised awareness of sustainable menstruation in the area where the kits were distributed.
In 2021-2022, we teamed up with India Power to educate 60 women from Hirapur Krupin Credit Society in Asansol about menstrual health and hygiene. We distributed 200 reusable cloth pad kits and took sessions on menstrual health and hygiene with the women in the area.
Anahat distributed 13,500 kits in 8 locations of Maharashtra as a part of the school campaign in 2023-24, organized by SBI Foundation. Each kit consisted of 3 reusable cloth pads and Anahat Unnati Comics.
